Permissions Information and Requests

All of the material published by Maupin House is copyrighted. Copyright is meant to protect the intellectual property of the authors and should, therefore, be taken seriously.

If you are unsure whether your use of our material is considered "Fair Use" or not, or whether it is covered by the "TEACH ACT" or not, please contact us and we will be happy to assist you. Your permissions request will generally fall under one of these categories:

• Permission for photocopying and electronic course content posting
• Permission to reprint
• Permission pertaining to our videos and DVDs
• Foreign rights

 In your permissions request, please include the following:

- Title of our work you wish to use and the specific passage and/or page number(s)
- Context in which you wish to use the work
- Format in which you wish to use the work (print, electronic, video, etc.)
- Number of people who will have access to the content
